EcoEgg: The Egg that washes your clothes, saves you money, and protects the planet.
What are EcoEggs and why is everyone talking about them?
Thanks to the BBC’s “Shop Well for the Planet” you’ve probably heard of EcoEgg Laundry Eggs. For those of you that haven’t, EcoEggs are an innovative, eco-friendly 2-in-1 replacement for laundry detergent and fabric conditioner that are better for the planet and your pocket. Originally designed for those with sensitive skin, they are kind to skin, cruelty-free, and vegan.
Why do I need an EcoEgg?
Firstly, EcoEggs contain more environmentally-friendly levels of surfactants (the compounds in laundry detergent that clean your clothes), which are better at breaking down in our waterways than normal detergents.
Secondly, having a laundry egg helps to reduce single-use plastic. Your EcoEgg arrives in a cardboard box containing all you need to get started. Once you’ve got your EcoEgg, you’ll only need to buy refill packs. Plus, they're totally reusable. You’ll never have to buy a plastic bottle of laundry detergent or fabric conditioner again!
Thirdly, priced at £10 and lasting an expected 70 washes, you’ll only be spending 14p per wash with an EcoEgg, and just 12p when you refill.

It couldn’t be easier to set up your EcoEgg. In just a couple of minutes, you’ll be ready to start your first load of washing.
